About Gizly
Gizly finds the deals worth your money at Canadian stores, and tells you plainly whether a discount is real.
Prices in Canada move fast, and “sale” labels are not always honest. We started Gizly to cut the time it takes to work out whether something is actually a good buy at the price being asked.
How we pick deals
- We scan Canadian stores every day. Our system checks sale sections at stores such as Best Buy, Costco and Sporting Life twice a day, and we add deals from Amazon.ca and other retailers as we find them.
- We apply the same rules to every deal. A deal has to be a meaningful discount, usually at least 25% off or a large dollar saving, and from a trusted seller. Where ratings exist, the product needs good ones from enough buyers.
- We skip the tricks. Huge discounts with few reviews, marketplace sellers with inflated “regular” prices and refurbished items listed as new are filtered out.
- We show the numbers. Every deal shows the current price, the retailer’s reference price and what you actually save.
Buying guides
Our guides compare products sold in Canada, with Canadian prices and places to buy. They draw on published lab tests, specifications and long-term owner reviews, and each guide says where its information comes from.
How Gizly is funded
Gizly is free. We earn from affiliate commissions and advertising, never by charging stores to post their deals. Read our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
